Apply as a freshman if you鈥檝e never taken a college class or if you took dual-credit, SEEK, or dual-enrolled classes in high school. If you鈥檝e taken college classes, apply as a transfer student.
How to Apply
Applying to HCC is easy, and we鈥檒l be with you at every step of the way. Just follow
these four steps:
- Submit the Application for Admission by choosing Start Your Application below. It鈥檚 free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete. Write down your Student ID number! Family members, please do not choose Active Military on military status.
- Send all transcripts to Attn Admissions, 红莲社区, PO Box 2100, Hopkinsville, KY 42241-2100 (includes high school, GED, and college transcripts)
- Complete the online Enable Advising Orientation
- Submit your ACT or SAT scores or the results of placement testing

How do you access your online Enable Advising Orientation?
You will need your Student ID number that is given to you when you apply.

- Select
- Select Courses
- Select HPCFC Enable Orientation

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS
Before submitting an application for admission to HCC, service members may contact
the Education Services Officer (ESO) or Counselor within your military service.
Once you are ready to begin, view the steps to apply for your branch of service below.
Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard
Apply to HCC by choosing Start Your Application below. Choose Active Military for military status.
Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard
Apply to HCC by choosing Start Your Application below. Choose Active Military for military status.

REMINDERS:
- Tuition Assistance Requests MUST BE completed by August 11, 2025 for Fall I term and October 10, 2025 (due to Columbus Day) for Fall II term. Any requests not submitted by this date and time will be subject to rejection and the responsibility of payment for the course will be on the student. This is in accordance with ArmyIgnitED 2.0 policy, which states that all Tuition Assistance Requests (TARs) must be submitted 7 full days prior to the start date of the class session. No exceptions to this policy will be made.
- Tuition Assistance (TA) only covers the cost of tuition. This means that any fees (books, lab fees, online book fees, etc.) are the responsibility of the student to pay. You may use financial aid to cover these costs, but you must be eligible for financial aid first. To check with our business office about any fees that you may have, please call (270) 707-3720. To check on your financial aid status, please email hp-hccfinancialaid@kctcs.edu.
All service members
You will receive correspondence to inform you of the required documents needed to
complete your admission. Documents required typically include official transcripts
from all institutions of higher education that you attended, JST and SMART transcripts,
test scores, etc.
